A list of my preferred software and services.
ActiveCampaign: Pound for Pound the best Marketing Automation Platform. Get out of the mindset of just sending newsletters with low open rates and even lower click rates. Run intelligent high performing digital maketing campaigns via email, sms, facebook, webtracking, and more. I have tried over a dozen and based on integration, ease of use, support, and pricing ActiveCampaign is what I use and the one I recommend. You see they are no trying to do everything. Instead they focus on the automation and itegreatin of markerting needs and outperform the crowd.
GeneratePress: A fast, flexible, and secure “friendly” multipurpose WordPress theme and starter templates. It is fast, secure, user-friendly (deep integration with WordPress customizer, designer-friendly (starter templates and works great with page builder plugins), developer-friendly (lots of hooks and responsive support), SEO-friendly (adheres to best practices), wallet-friendly (low cost with unlimited sites and reduced and optional annual price).
UPDATE: GeneratePress Premium now has theme builder features. So now together with a premium blocks editor the sky is the limit with our a page builder or complex hand coding.
GenerateBlocks: A powerful and minimalist approach to building sites with gutenburg blocks. It has recently revolutionized how I build websites and no longer need the traditional page builders such as Beave Builder, Elementor, Divi, etc. And
WPCodeBox: A plugin based way for adding code snippets to your WordPress sites. Much better and safer than writing directly to the funtions.php file. And tons of advancements from the similar plugin Code Snippets. You can save your code snippets to a cloud repository so it is easy to use on other projects. And the code editor has better intellisense for PHP and WordPress functions. Get it while they are offering their lifetime licenses, it will not last too long for something this good.
Presto Player and BunnyNet for WordPress video hosting. More affordable and great marketing abilities for your videos. Also works with youtube, vimeo, and local storage.
Beaver Builder: My preferred page builder because when the plugin is disabled your content is still legible and transferable. Other builders rely on WordPress shortcodes that are slower and lock you into that product without inputting your content.
Cloudways: The best cloud hosting company for the money. I have been searching for years for a host like this. All my web development projects are with cloudways. wordpress and custom php.
Constant Contact Email Marketing: Long time industry leader with builtin integration into Goldmine CRM. Generous 30-day free trial period.
Rackspace: Affordable alternative to Hosted Exchange and G-Suite if all you need it spam free email. $1-2/month per inbox. But they also have exchange email for less than competitors. Great support.
Gravity Forms: Powerful form software that can turn your website into a functional data gathering and integrate application.
Transaction Pro Importer: Import almost ANYTHING into Intuit QuickBooks (desktop, server, and online versions).
iDrive – Cloud Backup – One account, Multiple Computers/Devices, plenty of storage, one low annual expense.
EverWebinar: Webinars on demand are scalable and can have a higher conversion than live webinars. Everwebinar is a purpose-built solution for just recorded webinars, has great features, lots of integrations available, and is a great value.
Integromat – An low-cost yet versatile alternative to zapier.
Mint Mobile – Mint Mobile has proven to be worthy and valuable over that last 18 months. I would highly recommend giving them a try.
Ringbot.io – The lead widget.
